The Distillery | Distillery Tours:

The Pulteney Distillery is the most northerly on the mainland, and continues to make malt whisky using traditional methods nearly two centuries after its opening. A tour is the ideal way to experience this craftsmanship first hand. You can try a complimentary dram and discover the taste of the award-winning whisky for yourself or purchase your own hand-filled bottle from our cask selection. Old Pulteney's fascinating history is also brought to life by the distillery's excellent visitor centre, with a full range of souvenirs and products available in the shop.

Opening Hours:

- May to September: Monday to Saturday 10am – 4pm
- October to April: Monday to Friday 10am – 1pm, 2pm-4pm

- Tour Times 11am and 2pm or by arrangement.

Admission charge with redemption in shop.
Purchase & hand fill your own bottle of cask strength whisky.

The distillery silent season takes place during July and August. During this time tours may be disrupted. Please call in advance to avoid disappointment. The distillery is closed for the festive period.
