
Old Pulteney appoints Brand Ambassador

Old Pulteney has appointed marketing experts Fuel Brands Ltd to market and develop the single malt Scotch whisky brand in the on-trade sector.
Referred to as the ‘Genuine Maritime Malt’, Old Pulteney enjoys widespread appeal amongst whisky enthusiasts and it is this type of discerning drinker that Fuel Brands will be targeting. The Scottish-based ‘Brand Ambassador’, Neil Berrie, will primarily focus attention on developing brand awareness in the more exclusive bars and restaurants throughout Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Marketing activities will include the promotion of classic cocktails using Old Pulteney, whilst bar and restaurant staff will be given training. This will involve tasting sessions and information on the history of the malt. Neil has an excellent level of experience in this kind of role, having worked in the drinks industry for the last seven years. He is also currently employed as a tasting specialist at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
