Old Pulteney Launches 21 Year Old.

18/07/2005

21 Year OldOld Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky is set to unveil its latest line extension at the prestigious Vinexpo Wine & Spirit Exhibition.

The exhibition which takes place in Bordeaux, France from the 19 - 23 June will welcome the 21 year old line extension, the latest addition to the Pulteney family, which includes the recently launched limited edition 17 year old. Only 3000 bottles have been released to be sold in selected outlets.

As a non-chill filtered and non-coloured single malt whisky, Old Pulteney 21 year old is bottled in its most natural form, giving it a superior quality and mouthfeel. The aroma is full bodied and sweet to start. The complex flavour is light and fruity with hints of honey and vanilla, developing to a dry, smooth finish.

Old Pulteney Brand Manager, Margaret Mary Timpson said: "This is an exciting addition to a carefully planned range. Our 21 year old is quite different to anything else that we've produced previously and the initial feedback we've received from connoisseurs who have tried it is very encouraging".

Now gaining an impressive reputation amongst whisky aficionados, Old Pulteney has also received the critics' vote at the recent prestigious 2005 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Its excellence was recognised with the ultimate Double Gold decoration - the highest award in the competition.

Old Pulteney can be found at Stand No E325 of Hall 1 at the Vinexpo Wine & Spirit Exhibition.
