Rise With The Tide

Old Pulteney’s story is inseparable from the sea. It’s in our DNA. It’s in everything we do.

Like so many others, we embrace the sea’s immense power…its swells, ebbs and flows…to do something remarkable.

Our home in Wick, nestled on the most northerly shores of Scotland, is entirely shaped by its maritime past. Ever since our distillery doors opened in 1826, and to this day, our whisky breathes in the sea air, taking on its coastal qualities. The Maritime Malt.

We explore the stories of those, who like us, work in partnership with the sea, in our latest film series.

Introducing Rise With The Tide.

Working in partnership with the sea means going with the flow…accepting the elements. It’s a commitment and a leap of faith all in one. At Old Pulteney, we know all too well that the biggest rewards in life only come one way - with patience, but the voyage it can take you on will be worth it in the end.

“Here at Old Pulteney, we Rise With The Tide every day. Everything we do is borne from the sea, it’s our biggest partner. We know that there are countless others who, like us, embrace the sea to do something powerful. Our latest film series is all about sharing these stories so people can take inspiration from them. To get out there, embrace that opportunity and do something remarkable.
