1990 Vintage Single Malt Whisky
This exquisite Old Pulteney Vintage tells a tale of craftsmanship and dedication dating back more than a quarter of a century. From American oak ex-bourbon casks to rich Spanish oak butts and finally, to casks which previously held heavily peated whisky, this unique expression of the Maritime Malt speaks of complexity and depth.
APPEARANCE: Polished Copper.
AROMA: Spicy and sweet, followed by a thin veil of warming wood smoke and oak embers.
TASTE: Rich in texture and intense in flavour, the palate opens up with strong chords of pralines and sultanas on a thick bed of deliciously warm, savoury smoke. Citrus strikes the top note with hints of vanilla lingering in the background. The finish is long and smoky.
